About Chef Pius

Chef Pius Irura Muigana is an innovative, popular, and creative Executive chef at Savannah restaurant, Oman, Muscat. Since joining Savannah BBQ, he has created the menu by introducing a fresh modern, contemporary, edgy and fine East African cuisine. He is responsible for creating and implementing special events and restaurant menus while overseeing a dedicated team of 15 kitchen staffs. He also handles the food purchases for the entire operation, as well as related activities, including hiring and training.

He had the privilege to cater for celebrities such as Jamie Foxx, Jean-Claude van Damme, Bill Clinton, Richard Branson, the entire Brazil team, Bayern Munich, the late Michael Jackson, as well as all the heads of states of the Middle East region during their GCC summit.
